Amber Newman is a multidisciplinary designer and artist based in New York City. Her practice spans from print and digital collateral to graphics for environments/experiences for cultural institutions. Her artistic practice is rooted in video experiences, print, and installation discussing the surveillance of black lives. Amber is currently looking for freelance and full-time opportunities.
She is also a contributor to the Walker design blog, a runner, and a practicing Muay Thai fighter.
Previously, Amber has worked for The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Pentagram, Mother New York, and the Walker Art Center.
