Amber Newman is a multidisciplinary designer and artist based in New York City. Her practice spans from print and digital collateral to graphics for environments/experiences for cultural institutions. Her artistic practice is rooted in video experiences, print, and installation discussing the surveillance of black lives. Amber is currently open to any freelance opportunities.
Amber is currently freelancing for 12:01am and Vice. Previously she has worked for Elephant, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Pentagram, Mother New York, and The Walker Art Center. She is also an on-going contributor to the Walker design blog.
Amber also works out heavily in her spare time by running, weightlifting, and practicing Muay Thai.
